The Obama administration’s Cyberspace Policy Review brought cybersecurity to the forefront of the presidential priority list.  While policy makers determine an appointment to the top IT security job as well as which agencies and national policies are a best fit to tackle the problem, the fight for tighter IT security continues at the operational levels of government. 

Based on CDW-G’s 2009 Federal Cybersecurity Report, an in-depth look at front-line efforts in IT security, this presentation gives attendees the opportunity to hear about the security issues keeping Federal IT managers up at night, how IT security challenges are changing and what tools IT professionals need to stay one step ahead of evolving threats.  During the session, representatives from CDW-G, Blue Coat, and IDC Government Insights will discuss emerging cybersecurity solutions for Federal agencies, and audience members will have a chance to assess how they compare to their peers by answering select questions from the same survey that generated the Federal Cybersecurity Report.
