This session will discuss techniques for working across the CIO organization, Sub-Agency IT Organizations, as well as Cloud Providers to make this a successful process.

Gone are the days of presenting the scary Power Point to executives that show the malware exploiting and the data leaving the house. Today we must not only explain what the incident was, but why it happened, how it is being stopped, and how the team will prevent it from happening again. This session will discuss techniques for working across organizations to make this a successful process.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand internal and external stakeholders of a cybersecurity program.
  • Learn best practices in setting the foundation to proactively communicate with stakeholders under normal and crisis conditions.
  • participants on resources and organizations available to assist with threat detection or incident response.
