    The release of the Digital Government Strategy (DGS) as a presidential memo in May of 2012 was a seminal moment in mobile government. Digital Government Advisory team, composed of leaders across the federal government, specifically addressed the “hot issues” in mobility such as BYOD, Security, API’s, and mobilizing Enterprise Systems. As the one year anniversary approaches, How close is your agency to achieving the goals of the Digital Government Strategy (DGS) and more importantly…what is next? Get tools, strategies and insights into hot issues such as BYOD, Security, APIs and mobilizing Enterprise Systems.

    Smart phones and tablets offer new ways for agencies to communicate with citizens, and will likely become a common method for conducting the business of government. The mobile government has enormous savings potential, always appealing in a tough budget environment. Still, allowing these mobile devices into the enterprise presents challenges in areas such as the mobile ecosystem, security, IT infrastructure. This conference examines these issues from a management and technical perspective.
