DNSSEC Pavilion

Attacks on the Internet infrastructure are a reality - it's estimated that 10 percent of servers in the network today are vulnerable to domain name system (DNS) attacks. And many technology experts believe that we will see a serious attack on the underlying infrastructure within the next decade.

U.S. federal agencies are required to have deployed DNSSEC, the security protection for the domain name system, by year-end 2009. Challenges will still remain to deploy security measures that will help the DNS perform as people expect it to - in a trustworthy manner.

The DNSSEC Pavilion will feature suppliers of tools and technologies for automating or easing the deployment of DNSSEC. Their solutions will help remove threats of DNS-based attacks and improve the overall integrity and authenticity of information processed over the Internet.
